Lege cellen en IS-functies
Bij Lotte staat niets in de kolom Bezoeken, en Hannes leeftijd gedraagt zich vreemd. "Hoe weet ik wat er echt in een cel staat?" vraagt Dirk. Met een handvol functies die met IS beginnen.
Leeg is niet nul
In D6 staat niets. Vergelijk je een lege cel met 0, dan zegt Excel WAAR: in een berekening telt leeg als 0.
Wil je weten of een cel echt leeg is, gebruik dan ISLEEG. =ISLEEG(D6) is WAAR: bij Lotte zijn de bezoeken niet ingevuld, ze waren niet 0.

Getal of tekst?
ISGETAL vraagt of een cel een getal bevat, ISTEKST of ze tekst bevat. Allebei geven ze WAAR of ONWAAR.
Hannes leeftijd in B10 ziet eruit als 12, maar het is tekst. =ISGETAL(B10) geeft dus ONWAAR. Een tip: getallen staan rechts in een cel, tekst links.

Is your Excel in English? Then the functions have other names, and there is often a comma between the arguments instead of a semicolon.
