V and B

Left index finger down

Noor puts a pile of handwritten recipes on your desk. "Start with the butter and the fish," she says. Your left index finger reaches down to the bottom row for the first time.

The left index finger down

Below the home row lies the bottom row. V sits down and to the right of F, B sits below G, further to the right. Both are for your left index finger, like R and T above them.

B feels far away, but it really is your left index finger's key. Your right index finger already has N, and soon one more key next to it.
