No. Every course starts from zero and explains each idea before asking you about it. After that, it gets more challenging step by step.

The first three modules of every course are free, even without an account. To go further, take premium for one course or for all of them.

Not to get started. Without an account, your browser keeps your progress. With a free account you carry on on any device and join the leaderboard. What you already did comes with you.

No, everything runs in your browser. You don't even need Excel for the Excel course: Lurndo works out your formulas itself.

A few minutes. So you can easily fit a lesson in between other things, and pick up tomorrow where you left off.

SQL (real queries on real tables), Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables), HTML & CSS (building and styling your own web pages) and Touch typing (typing with ten fingers). Every course has eight modules, each ending with a final test.

We look at what your answer produces, not at how you wrote it. A query is right when it returns the right rows, a formula when it works out the right value, on a second sheet with other numbers too. So every correct solution counts, not just ours.

Every exercise has hints that get more and more concrete. After each exercise you also read why the answer is right. If you really can't get there, skip the exercise and come back to it later.

That depends on your Excel. In an English Excel you type SUM(A1,A2); many European versions use ; and their own function names, such as SOM(A1;A2) in Dutch. You choose which form you see and type in the course, so it matches the Excel you use at work.

UK QWERTY (Windows and Mac), US QWERTY, US International and the Belgian AZERTY keyboard (Windows and Mac). You pick your layout, and the lessons show the characters on your keyboard.

Yes, you can follow SQL, Excel and HTML & CSS on any screen. Touch typing needs a physical keyboard: you can still read the explanations and look at the map anywhere.

Without an account, in your browser's storage. If you clear it, or practise in a private window, you start over. With an account we also keep your progress on our server, so you can carry on on any device.

Without a password. You enter your email address and get a sign-in link, or you sign in with Google.

Check your spam or promotions folder too. A link only works once: feel free to ask for a new one on your account page.

The leaderboard shows the points you collected this week, under a nickname you choose yourself. Others never see your email address. A new week starts every Monday.

On your account page, right at the bottom. Your account, your progress and your points are gone straight away.

Modules 4 to 8 of the course, with their final tests and the daily challenges. In SQL, Excel and HTML & CSS, Lurnie, your AI coach, also answers your questions in every lesson. In SQL and Touch typing you earn a certificate after the whole course.

You choose one course, or every course together for a little more. Then you choose how to pay: monthly, yearly (the best value) or once for life. The prices are on the premium page.

Yes. You then only pay the difference, for the rest of your current month or year, or once if you chose lifetime.

On the premium page, under Manage your subscription. You can cancel at any time.

Then you get your money back, for any reason. Send us a message through the contact page.

Yes. Your lessons, points, badges and records are always yours, even if you don't take premium or cancel later.

SQL and Touch typing. You get it once you finish every lesson of the course. For touch typing you then take one more five-minute test: your measured speed goes on your certificate.

Yes. Every certificate has its own link and code. Anyone who has it sees your name, the date and what you did for it, but never your email address. So you can safely put it on your LinkedIn profile or your CV.

No. We use no tracking cookies, no ads and no third-party cookies. We only count anonymously how often lessons are started and finished, without being able to recognise you.

Without an account, nothing on our servers. With an account, your email address, your nickname and your progress. It's all in the privacy statement, with who processes your data and for how long.
