Lists of numbers
Crate numbers, weights and prices in a list
Tomorrow's auction list: per lot a number, a variety, a weight and a guide price. Rik reads out, you type. A wrong number is a crate that goes to the wrong buyer.
Every number counts
In a list of numbers a slip is more dangerous than in a sentence: nobody reads past 315 when you meant 351. That is why right matters more than quick here.
Read every number in groups of two or three digits, the way you remember a phone number, and check the line before you go on.
