Long words

Reading long words in chunks

A documentary about the railway: words of fifteen letters, and the subtitle must not fall behind. Sam wants you to read long words the way you type them, in chunks.

Read in chunks

English has long words too: international, understanding, responsibility. You don't type such a word letter by letter, but in chunks you already know: inter-nation-al.

Your eyes read the next chunk while your fingers type the last one. That keeps your pace even, even in a word of fifteen letters.
