Typing to the beat
Rhythm before speed: typing to a tick
A musical. Sam puts a metronome on his desk: "Type to the beat. Not faster, not slower. Whoever types evenly becomes fast by itself."
Rhythm before speed
Fast typists don't type in bursts, but evenly: every keystroke the same distance from the one before. In this lesson you hear and see a beat, and you type one character per tick. Not faster when it is easy, not slower when it gets hard.
The result measures how even your rhythm was, in percent. Speed doesn't count here; the beat starts slow and gets a little quicker every step.
