Stamina: five minutes
Typing smoothly and rightly for five minutes
It is Friday afternoon and the weekly report has to go out. Lies asks whether you can type it in one go: five minutes, without a break.
Holding your pace
A five-minute typing test measures something else than a one-minute one: not your fastest pace, but the pace you keep up. Start calmly, keep your shoulders loose and your wrists floating, and keep breathing.
The goal is 24 words a minute with 95% right. You may fix a slip, but don't let it rush you: after a slip, type on at the same rhythm.
