Typing without looking? You can learn it from scratch.
Touch typing means your fingers know the keys, so your eyes stay on the screen. You start with two keys that have a little bump, F and J, and every lesson adds a few more.
There is nothing to install. You type in your browser, on your own keyboard, and you see straight away which finger should have typed.
Why Lurndo suits you
A few keys per lesson
Each lesson teaches a few new keys, with a short explanation and the keyboard on screen first. Then you practise them, with help and then without.
Your own keyboard
UK QWERTY, US, US-International or Belgian AZERTY, on a Mac too. The lessons show the letters on your keyboard.
You see which finger
Coloured finger zones and two hands on the screen show which finger types. After a mistake you see right away what went wrong.
Short and often
A lesson takes a few minutes. A little every day works better than one long session, and your streak keeps you going.

Where to start
The home row and the top row lay the foundations. The first three modules, with the whole alphabet, are free.
- 1The home rowYour first client as a typist: local station Radio Ripple in Ludlow. You rest your fingers on the home row, feel F and J, and teach every finger its own keys, until you type your first words without looking.
- 2The top rowVillage paper The Clapper in Hexham needs a typist. You reach every finger up to the top row, add N for and, in and on, and type your first full sentences.
