Hyphen and brackets

Hyphen and brackets

The last box: addresses and notes. Lea wants Castle-gate spelt right, and every aside between brackets.

Hyphen and brackets

The hyphen joins word parts: well-known, black-and-white, e-mail. Brackets set an aside apart (like this one). No space after an opening bracket, and none before a closing one.

The hyphen sits at the right of the number row, without Shift. The brackets sit there too: on QWERTY above 9 and 0, with Shift; on AZERTY without Shift, on the key of the 5 and the key right of the 0.
